Ria,

You can only apply once to ISB - either in Cycle 1 or in Cycle 2. I will suggest that you retake your GMAT and then apply in the Cycle 2 only.

Hi Madam,

If a student ,with score of 680 applies in the 1st cycle and then retakes the GMAT after the 1st cycle deadline, would he be considered as a fresh candidate for the 2nd cycle?Does he need to submit his SOP/Essays once more with the score or is it enough if he sends his latest GMAT score ?would he be considered for both the cycles?

What would be better for him?To apply only in the 2nd cycle after retaking GMAT ,or to apply once in the 1st cycle and then again in the 2nd cycle? Is there any provision for a student who has submitted his application in the 1st cycle to just update his lates GMAT score in the second cycle?

Banerjee.ria2001,

The actual admissions will depend on the quality of your application which include essays, your past academic record, your GMAT score, the recommendation you get from the reviewers whom we will contact and your performance in the interview ( assuming you are called for the admission interview). We really look at the overall quality of the experience and not haw fragmented or other wise it is.
