From what i have read about Independent Study Programme it is offered between terms five to eight and a student can choose his area of interest and enroll under the guidance of a faculty. These are my questions:</p> <p>1. What exactly is ISP? Does a student get an opportunity to do research and write a paper as part of this or is it more of a project done under the guidance of faculty.<br /> 2. Is there any restriction on the topics that can be chosen.<br /> 3. Is ISP a true elective course and does bidding happen for this course.<br /> 4. I have read the following on ISB website regarding ISP: "A student can take on two such programmes during terms five to eight".
