Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I just wanted to know whether my chances will be less if I will apply in Cycle 2.Also is my qualification good enough to be considered?

Reetjha,
Your qualifications are perfectly fine. In the past, we have seen that the second cycle is more competitive as compared to the first one. Also, a lot depends upon the quality of applications we recieve in that particular cycle. If you have a strong application then it does not matter which cycle you apply in.

Hi ,
Thanks for boosting my confidence. I plan to apply the next year. I had one more query.
Can we get The Letter of Recommendation from a person who is not our manager but whom we are reporting to in our office. What I mean is that in our company a person at G40 level and above is a manager. But he delegates his work to employees at G30 level.I currently report to a G30 and he decides my rating.Since I closely work with him so he knows my contribution better. So whom should I ask a letter of recommendation from? Also please tell me what I should do in this year to make my application stronger.
Thanks in anticipation.Posted 3 years ago # -
Reetjha,
You must take your reco from somebody with whom you work closely. In your case, you should take it from your reporting manager.
In the coming year, try adding as much value as you can to your job profile and also on the extra-curricular front.
