Wat are my chances with ISB

Hello Ma'm,

I am a Manager with the largest media group in the country working in the telecom division. I come with 6 years of experience in the telecom domain where I started off as a customer service executive and climbed the ladder to be manager in a reputed company with a 7 figure annual package. Professionally I have done well and I am also a visiting faculty in an MBA college and have given guest lectures on Mobile Marketing and M Commerce

However academically I have not been outstanding.My TYBcom score is 50.5%.I have also done my part time MBA from the Mumbai University in which I have not cleared one subject which has currently been given for revaluation ( other than that I have secured a 1st class in all other subjects )

I really want to do the ISB programme and would like know what are my chances of getting in with my current profile.

Sharalene,

You can compensate for your low academics by concentrating more on your application essays, recos and GMAT. Also, make sure that you highlight your professional achievements in the application.

You need not worry about your MBA degree as we will only consider your bachelors.

Thank you so much for your reply. Just wanted to know if my profile is suitable for ISB & if should mention the MBA in my application or omit it completely

Sharalene,

Yes, your profile is suitable for application to ISB. PLease do mention your MBA degree because if you don't then it will be considered as breach of ethics.
