    Quantity of martini is given as ‘n’ in the problem,Quantity of gin that needs to be added(assume it is as x) can be found as follows:
    Look it in terms of weighted average
    60% of martini which weighs ‘n’ ounces when added with 100% of gin which weighs ‘x’ ounces gives a new mixture which has 75% of gin.

    60n + 100x
    ———— = 75
    n+x

    Quantity of martini(n) 75 – 60 5
    ———————— = ——— = —-
    Quantity of gin (x) 100- 75 3

    x = 3n/5
