However, forty percent of the lights that are supposed to be off are actually on and ten percent of the lights that are supposed to be on are actually off. What percent of the lights that are on are supposed to be off?

Three grades of milk are 1 percent, 2 percent and 3 percent fat by volume. If x gallons of 1 percent grade, y gallons of 2 percent grade and z gallons of 3 percent grade are mixed to give x+y+z gallons of 1.5 percent grade, what is x in terms of y and z?
A. y + 3z
B. (y+z)/4
C. 2y + 3z
D. 3y + z
E. 3y + 4.5z

Miguel is mixing up a salad dressing. Regardless of the number of servings, the recipe requires that 5/8 of the finished dressing mix be olive oil, 1/4 vinegar, and the remainder an even mixture of salt, pepper and sugar. If Miguel accidentally doubles the vinegar and forgets the sugar altogether, what proportion of the botched dressing will be olive oil?
