for finding the %age of directors, we need some info abt the number of ppl, which is nowhere in options. Only avg salaries are given, which have no relation to the number of PPl.

u cannot solve a % prob without any one side of info that is either there should be total no of employees or there should be total salary paid to all the employees. how it has been calculated 25 % i am very desperate to know
Let the number of managers be X and their average salary be M.
and, number of Directors be Y and their average salary be D.
From the question statement we have total number of employees = X+ Y
From statement 1 we have, ((MX+DY)/(X+Y))-M = 5000
==> Y(D-M)=5000(x+y). We cannot conclude anything about the percentage of employees from this.
Lets consider, statement 2
D-((MX+DY)/(X+Y)) = 15000
X(D-M) = 15000(X+Y), we cannot conclude anything from this either.
Combining both statements (dividing in this case) we get
X/Y = 3 from which we can calculate the percentage of each kind of employee.
Hence, C is the answer.
25 % are directors and 75 % are managers.
