Dear GMAT Takers,
Sorry for inconvenience. We rectified it now.
Hi GMAT Team,
I still can’t see the table, pls do the needful
My Answer is 12.
Ans: 12
Even my answer is 12. Need your suggestions whether my approach to solve the question is right. I did:
(x-10)/10 = (14.4-x)/x
-> x^2-144=0
-> (x+12)(x-12)=0
Any other approaches or a much faster approach?

C
I will go with option C
y = fraction, x = 4:00pm amount
10+10y = x
y = 1/10 * (x-10)
x + xy = 14.4
x +x[1/10 * (x-10)] = 14.4
solve for x and get 12
