Ans is E, follows parallelism,has participle in it and also includes indication of and stimulus to.

This is a tough one.. I rule out A as there are idiomatic and subject verb agreement error. I will go with E.

(E) is undoubtedly the correct answer.
‘Indication to’ is unidiomatic — Hence A & B are out.
C — doesnt follow the norms of parallelism.
D — ‘both’ seems to mean as if there ar 2 subjects.
