    The least possible value when rounding to 6 cm long is 5.5 cm. Therefore, the least possible value of actual area of square region is 5.52 = 30.25 cm2.

    5.5*5.5=30.25 that’s why it cannot be 25.

    If you ask why 5.5, the question stem asks rounding the nearest cm…you can round a value only if it above the.5 limit.
